  12.      2           Eggs                     1/4 tsp       Baking Powder         
  13.  1 1/2 Cups      All Purpose Flour                      Nutmeg                
  14.    1/2 Cup       Water                                                        
  15.    1/2 tsp       Salt                                                         
  16.                                                                               
  17. Beat eggs thoroughly and combine with the other ingredients.
  18. Drop batter in small bits from a spoon or spaetzle cutter into simmering
  19. salted water.
  20. Simmer until done.
  21. Serve in stews, in soups, with meat or as a side dish covered with sauted
  22. croutons or bread crumbs.
